OWF shuts down

Unfortunately the OWF is done and over with. After 5 years OWF founder Robb HaiZe and OWF GM Lyle Cruz have decided to shut down the promotion after months of looking for a new place. Why not just wrestle on the ground? We've wrestled on the ground a lot. It's not as fun, but if you don't have anything else, at least it's always there. Unless you are forced to levitate for your entire life.

Ya ground wrestling isn't as bad as many people think. Once you do one match and take bumps you realize as long as you bump correctly it doesn't leave you hurt.

Well ground wrestling isn't really an option. The cops around here aren't exactly fans of us, and they're everywhere in this town. We where a ground fed for over a year, so i know it isn't bad. And im pretty sure that KHW is a ground fed still, although there is plans to build a base eventually.

Ignore everything said so far regarding the OWF shutting down. Now we have a reason to look hard for a place and stay open. There is a douchebag bashing us now. Its personal.

Ya I think he must have misunderstood. Or more likely it is the negative reinforcement that the wrestling business likes to do these days, so you guys keep going lol. Back in the day Adan would try to get every single byw wrestler to start a fed such that there were plenty of opportunities to wrestle.

Yes Adan has definitely changed a lot since, say, spring break showdown. Whenever I talk to him he acts so mighty about being an indy wrestler and looks down on all yarder, which is a shame because some are, honestly, WAY more talented than he or I and have yet to even wrestle for an indy promotion. Chris Castle, Bsnow and prodigy come to mind immediately. That's also the reason there was no West Fest 2. They said they wanted indy workers only...well that's not exactly yarding then is it, dummy?

I am not sure what is really going on. Adan still acts cool with me. I know he has his indy championship run going now, and I think he is trying to make money in it. Sometimes the indy scene can be a bit weird where they bury anyone that has a hint of BYW so I think he may be trying to keep it hush hush. BYW is the don't ask, don't tell of the indy scene lol!

Well i talked to him and its resolved. I guess some people just like to start shit between others.
