Hi, we are the WMWA: Western Massachusetts Wrestling Alliance, out of Springfield, MA. We started October 2004, and went to hiatus August 2005. We returned November 2008 and now we are just 12 shows away from our 100'th taped show.

Most of our wrestlers have had professional wrestling training, and one has a black belt in Kung-Fu.

ROSTER: VETERANS
Anarki: A masked monster. Face.

Angeldust: Originally started as a high-flyer with a pothead gimmick, he is very technical now. Wrestles in the indies. He also crashed a car with 3 other wrestlers in it. Face.

Backyard: very technical wrestler. Intermediate in Kung Fu. Face

Big C: HUGE Wrestler. Will be retiring at our 100'th show. Face

Bouncer: Origially brought in as a bouncer for a storyline bar. Dragonball Z-related gimmick. Face

Dave Dawson: Our 2'nd Champion. Without a doubt, the most technical wrestler in WMWA, also the most experienced. Several injuries have held him back, and he is due to retire later this year at our 100'th show. Black belt in Kung Fu. Face

Eric Drake: Good on the mic. He will be retiring later this year at our 100'th show. Face

Humberto Ramos: Deaf wrestler. Powerhouse. Face

Rush: Currently injured wrestler, serving as a booker and on-camera commissioner. Face

ROSTER: NEWER GUYS
Aaron Douglas: Current Champion. Heel

Ace Armani: high-flying wrestler. Emulates RVD. Looks like Kofi Kingston, dreds included. Heel

CJ Price: very arrogant, with skills to back it up. Heel

Taylor Made: Powerhouse. Heel

Evan Paine: brother of legendary WMWA wrestler Ethan Paine. Hasn't been able to live up to the family name yet. Heel

Joey Rancid: very quick wrestler. Currently on deployment. Heel

ALUMNI:
Cypher: new guy. Heel. Hasn't shown up in months.

Ethan Paine: Big time indy wrestler, bitches. Legendary technical wrestler. Will be wrestling at our 100'th show.

Mikhail Kalashnikov: Soviet gimmick. Originally tapped for a main event-push, his wrestling skill left much to be desired (think Kenzo Suzuki). Makes occasional appearances. Face

Bryan O'Lynn: former commisioner. storyline alcoholic. Face. Proposed an angle for July 4'th show, got it approved, then blew off the show to play disc golf.

Justin Moore: Very talented technical wrestler with no charisma. Inactive because of work schedule. Will be wrestling at our 100'th show.

Frankie Falls-A-Lot: had 2 matches in WMWA. Cemented his nickname after tripping and falling in the ring after interfering. Not very talented. 40 seconds in.

Snake: Not very talented as a wrestler, but became Champion after a storyline mistake.

Edward Vapore: Our first Champion. Will be wrestling at our 100'th show.

OFF-CAMERA
White Thunder: racist color commentator. He also commentates on peoples' color.

WMWA Hybrid Championship. Current Champion: Eric Drake (All matches contested for this Title have a stipulation randomly determined by roll of the dice)

WMWA HISTORY:
WMWA was formed by a merger of ICW: Intense Championship Wrestling (homemeade ring), SFW: Supreme Federation Wrestling (trampoline), and SWAW: Springfield With Attitude Wrestling (ground).

PRODUCTION:
We use two mini-DV cameras to tape shows. We use Sony Vegas to edit matches. Our YouTube account doesn't have a time limit. All our taped shows are on DVD, and since our comeback in 2008, I have archived the original DV files, allowing us easy access to the original high quality camera footage for use in compilations and documentaries.

ARE WE SAFE?
Yes. Most wrestlers have had professional training. We encourage a safe environment by discouraging unnecessary risks. Hardcore matches are few and far in-between, but all matches are entertaining, from squashes to technical clinics to powerhouse brawling.

Besides having great matches, we come up with a lot of funny skits and segments. I can't post external links right now, so you'll have to wait for that.
